ParentNet® Grant Writing Resources

Although ParentNet materials are free or offered at a very low-cost to schools - some funding is necessary to support its success and maintenance over the years. Funding may be required for local training, promotional materials, childcare during meetings, and stipends paid to faculty liaisons. Many PTA’s or PTO’s support the ParentNet program with operating funds. Title I funds have also been used to fund ParentNet training and materials. Many other resources are available to supplement a school’s fundraising efforts on behalf of ParentNet. To help schools who need to additional funding support, we provide the following:

Budget Planning Guidance
To help evaluate the financial costs of ParentNet for your school, download our introductory publication, "ParentNet At Your School: A guide for Parent Leaders, Educators and Trainers" (PDF)  You will find a section on planning for expenses.

Sample Grant Proposal
A grant proposal, downloadable as a Word Document that can be edited, provides most of the key components required by funders. We have inserted information about ParentNet, its history, and program. You will need to complete it with your financial request. You may edit this document in whatever way serves your school the best. Download Proposal
